Hello,
My name is Joe Pettit - Recently I ordered two Kodiak Seiner jackets from
you, which you shipped to me at one of the US research stations in
Antarctica. I am attaching a few photos of myself using the jacket down
here at Palmer Station (one of three Antarctic research stations funded by
the National Science Foundation).
Love the jacket!
Joe
As
promised, here is a photo of the marvelous Kodiak Seiner in Antarctica,
complete with Adelie penguins. I can't tell you enough how much we love
these jackets down here - perfect for so many different weather
conditions. The fact that they are so stylish is icing on the cake!

During
the Tesoro Iron Dog, Johnny and I never once got cold. Your
clothing kept us warm and dry. (We noticed that water has a tendency to
"bead off" before anything is absorbed.) It fit well, and was well made.
We would recommend NOMAR Clothing to anyone who races snowmobiles, or
spends a lot of time outdoors.
Johnny thought that the Dutch Harbor
pants were some of the most comfortable pants he has ever worn- on the
snowmachine or around the house. (I have to agree) The Long liner pants
are a little on the heavy side to wear while inside, but when we are out
riding or just working outside, they are perfect! (They a make a great
liner for our bibs, or are just fine by themselves.) Either way, we always
go home warm and dry. I could say the same for the coats. The Kodiak
Seiner is both warm, and comfortable. If I want a lighter coat, I switch
to the Dutch Harbor. Both sets of the pants and coats have been worn as
liners for riding gear.
I have to tell you, Johnny and I also
won the SPY sunglasses award. The race board felt that we were the best
looking team, before, during and after the race. They said we were the
most professional looking team, but still comfortable. They even went as
far to say we even had matching coats at the award ceremony. (we were both
wearing our Kodiak Seiner coats.)
